What word processors are there for mac other than Microsoft Word: Mac? any cheaper ones?

OpenOffice is free and works just as well as Word. Or you can buy iWork '08 and use Pages. OpenOffice works fine for me, though. If you don't have X11 installed the normal version won't work, but you can download the Aqua version here: http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/downlo... It's still in beta, but so far I haven't found any real issues with. I think it crashed on me one time but that was it.
