work part of the time. My employer is resistant to the word "part-time". I can do some work, but also find myself needing rest after activity. I figure I can be a work a few hours a day a few days a week. How would be a good way to write that for the disability papers. My doctor wants my input given my employers weird reaction to me taking disability,

  1. Usually reduced activity.  If you had an active job, that might be more sedentary work on a PT basis.  Employers and insurance companies love to try and get these claims put aside.  You need to have your doctor pitch hit more forcefully for you.

  2. It's sort of complicated based on the jurisdiction where you live, but generally your description is consistent with "partial disability," wherein the scope of your duties/hours may be limited but you could still work for a given amount of time.

Clearly, you'd need your physician to certify this.

I hope this is what you were looking for, good luck.
