Like, what are the differences in the way the language is used?

And what phrases are used a lot in America but not in england?

    I put my luggage in the trunk of my car, but in England, I would put it in the boot.

    In England, they have lorries, in the US, they have trucks or semi's.

    In England, you take a lift, we in the US take the elevator.

    Of course, like you said, they probably use more US words now.
