Not simple misspellings like then/than, but like... democracy, for example.

  1. Awesome, What's up, Fantastic, 'F' word, Oh My God, Sh**, A**ho**.

Adults should avoid using them, esp when youngsters are around.

  2. Hate. It's too strong,  you think about it.

  3. I would have to say nice is the worst one. Probable love as well.

  4. I would say 'ego'.

in psychology, your ego is the thing that keeps you level headed. however, when most people think of the word ego, they think of someone very full of themselves, arrogant and cocky.

  5. Languishing and luxuriating; advise and advice; lose and loose; accept and except; e.g. and i.e.

There are many more. Just have a look at my sources. The ones I mentioned are just what I have been noticing frequently.

  6. Grammatically, I think homonyms and words that have similar sounds are most often misused:  there/their/they're, to/too accept/except, affect/effect, etc.

  7. Hands down, "Nauseous"

An object that is nauseous makes people sick, therefore when YOU feel sick you are "Nauseated," NOT "Nauseous."  Unless you really do make people throw up a little.
