What work outs will make me better and give me a chance at higher levels.?

Hello I am currently 13 and going into 8 th grade my dream is to be a major league baseball player. In the classroom and as well on the field i work very hard i have had a 4.0 allways. Every other day I lift run stretch hit of a tee, swim ect. But still i want to get better and be the best. I also work out and practice with my club ball team. I play every postition but am an amazing catcher not to sound full of myself. So I am look for ANYTHING or and suggestions to help me get better.

  1. i actually play for that position often. i actually picked up a couple of tips from Yankees catcher Jose Molina on some moves on Yankees network tv. i guess you'd wanna look online or at soem stores for instruction vids and follow them thru.

  3. Plyometics, plyometrics, plyometrics. Do not lift weights yet, you are too young and your body is still developing. All you are going to do is stunt your growth and you really do not want that to happen do you? Plyometrics will workout your entire body while making you more explosive in the process. You will hit the ball with greater velocity and be able to spring out of the seated position and throw guys out quicker.
