  1. I'm sort of the same way but I found that if you just do ONE task early enough, usually in the future I do create a positive habit of doing things earlier. So it's almost just trying to reverse the bad habit by starting off slow. Its hard though I know.

  2. Yes, it's called "laziness"

Get a calender and put down each of your assignments on their due dates. Find out how long the work will take, and assign a certain time to work on each of the assignments every day. Also, you should treat yourself everytime you get an assignment done...it'll be kind of like a motivation.

  3. I'm a terrible procrastinator its true.

what i tend to do is:

disconnect the internet from my computer,

    turn my music off

    stay away from the tv

    and turn my phone off

if you need the internet it takes will power to stay off the sites that really distract you but in the end if you knuckle down you can get it done.

i am on of the people who tend to get better marks when they finished their project/essay/speech the night before (sure i will be ridiculously tired the next day but hey i hardly sleep anyway!)

the only things that work for me are:

a deadline within the next 24 hours

being so bored that i actually feel like doing some work

    or

when i simply decide things are mounting up and i just disconect myself from the human kind for a few hours to get some of the work out of the way.

  4. I can sometimes bypass the delay button by immediately doing.  Otherwise, I mostly procrastinate, too.

  5. Theres a book out there that helped me.  It's called "Time Management for dummies".  Im the say way man, but if you put yourself on a schedule, and gain the disciplen to follow it.  You'll see how much of a more accomplished person you'll be.

  6. Make small goals.  REALLY tiny ones.  Like:

I will do the first section of my work.

As a reward I will goof off for X amount of time.

Then I will do the next section of work.

    Then another reward.

And so on and so on.

    That's what works for me.

  7. i can understand. ACTION is the keyword and once you build on that as an habit things should begin to work out. think of things that you are doing now, such as getting online for eg. you do it without fail isnt it? it has become an habit but most of all it is something that u enjoy. we tend to put things aside when we find it hard to focus or concentrate. try to work around that. you cant change the environment but you can change yourself.

  8. Sometimes you just have to pump yourself up physically and mentally.  Once you get the ball rolling it's much easier to follow through.

  9. Go out running until you cant anymore, then try to run back.  When that cleared out your head, start working for something.  Anything.  Do this on a daily basis until you run out of excuses for why you don't follow through with anything.

  10. uhhmmm, i'm going to fully answer this question tomorrow...

  11. what you have to do is REALLY REALLY clearly put in your mind what your goals are and why it is important to GET WORK DONE.

if you focus on it long enough and with some willpower you can pull it off........

  12. I'll get back to you later...

  13. Well....i procrastinate....but it seems your type of procrastinatio doesnt actually get anything done. I do it b/c for some reason i work better under pressure. I will do a paper real lae at night before its due the next day. Sooo...my advice...i think you should try and work on them a bit...then reward yourself by going online to yahoo answers when you have atleast started your work!

    :)

  14. umm.. I will tell you tomorrow!

  15. for me, i usually get focused on my work when i want to be with a girl. usually my work can get in the way, so i try to condense it back to back each day. if its school work, study at night and be in the quietest place you can find. also stay away from computers and other entertainment as much as possible. fish oil pills also did a great favor for my concentration.
