I have an anxiety problem.I have learned that those with anxiety problems shouldn't be doing a lot of sympathetic nervous system dominant workouts. Example...heavy weight lifting.So, is running a sympathetic workout too?What kinds of workouts can someone do that has an anxiety problem?I was reading that if you have stress on the job then your sympathetic nervous system is on a lot...so its important not to keep it on during your off days by doing workouts that keep the sympathetic nervous system on.So it appears that I am hurting myself by lifting weights on my off days. I do a lot of running too.
