What workouts should I do to..?

Im starting school this sept. and I have a free membership to the school's gym. I really want to tone my whole body and was wondering what classes I should sign up for to achieve this. The list is: step, muscle work, spinning, cardio kickboxing, aqua, and boxing.

  1. To tone up, any of these would work.  The most effective ones for toning would have to be muscle work, cardio kickboxing, and boxing.  I like the other ones too, they just probably wouldn't tone as much, but they would probably be better for losing weight.


  2. definitely do lots of cardio but you have to incorporate some weight training for extra toning.  The key to toning up is alternating your workouts every time, so definitely try all the classes you can so that you activate different muscle groups while you give your other muscles a chance to rest!  Stay consistent- try to work out every other day.  And make sure that you're not working out and then having fast food after your work-out!

  3. Cardio kickboxing.
