  1. Try using a large 3 barrell waver

    Use it lightly

let the waves fall out a little

    and shake your hair around

so it looks beachy like the pic

    try this styling tool

  2. There are products you can buy that will give you that look ... Garnier makes one, so does Beyond The Zone, John Frieda ... and others.

But it's simple to make your own ... and cheap!

Just mix some salt (about a tablespoon) with some water (2 cups or so) in a spray-bottle.  Add a few drops of baby oil (tanning oil, body oil), and shake it.

Spray that onto dry or barely damp hair ... scrunch your hair up a bit with your hands ... then just let it dry or dry it with a diffuser WITHOUT touching it.

Once it's dry, don't brush or comb.  Just shake it into place, finger-comb it a bit ... then mist it just lightly with hairspray, if you like.

(If you want your waves a little "stiffer", you can add a little bit of styling product ... gel, glaze, setting liquid ... to the saltwater mixture before you spray it on).

  3. Try a curling iron that is about 1 and 1/4" and just put some lazy waves in it?  The picture is obviously a perm.

  4. I use a curl recontruct mouse on my wet hair after my shower. Just pull it throughout your hair and scrunch. you can use a blowdryer with a diffuser or just let it dry naturally(if you have time) while you finish getting dressed.

  5. Actually, it's not obviously a perm. I have styled my hair like that on many occasions in a matter of minutes and have never set foot in a salon in order to do so.

Usually, while my hair is damp, I throw in some got2b kinky mousse (which smells wonderful, by the way, but you can use any mousse you have). I usually scrunch my hair with my hands, and if needed i use a blow dryer on a low setting to dry my hair while it scrunch it. Once it's dry, I add a very small amount of volumizing hairspray (I use Suave Volumizing Finishing Hairspray) near my roots and fluff everything up a bit.

If your hair looks frizzy at all, just add some spray gel or smooth it all down with some light hold hairspray,  just make sure you don't put in too much or else your hair might get crunchy.

    Good Luck!

  6. Garnier Fructis Beach style spray

    Works a treat :)
