What works better, neutrogena or clean&clear ?

i don't mean skinid or the clean&clear advantage kit, i just mean in general.

my dermatologist has given me multiple acne pills and creams that havent worked.

so im going to try by myself with one of their products. but from experience i was wondering which worked well for your acne, neutrogena or clean&clear and what product did/do you use?

by the way i have moderate to severe acne.

out of the 2 choices u gave i prefer clean& clear. neutrogena makes my skin feel like theres a residue almost and it feels sort of sticky... but i use proactiv- it really works very very well! i had a pill and a few diff creams from the dermitologist too and they didnt really work but proactiv def does!!! i didnt have horrible acne, but i was always having blemishes esp around my 'time of the month' and they would stay for weeks. once i started using proactiv my skin really cleared up in like 2 weeks. it isn't 100% perfect but i havent had a big, bad breakout in a long time. ill still get a small pimple here and there but they usually dont come out all the way- my bf's like its not fair u never have pimples, u cant even see them when u do! and im like 'thats cuz i use proactiv!' lol seriously, i swear by that stuff!!! i suggest checking that out- its not too expensive either. its $20 for a months supply and u can have it automatically sent every month, theres also a diff face wash with micro beads in it and from QVC i get the double pack for $33, and those bottles are twice as big as the reg face wash in the pack. i would suggest gettin the regular system so u get the repairing lotion and the toner along with the mask and tea moiturizer... theres also a system that walmart sells that is similar to proactiv and thats only $20 also. if u have severe acne i think you should try these

If you have moderate to sever acne, neither of those will really works. I forget what brand it is, but it's called the Apricot Scrub . My sister has really bad acne, and that works well for her. You should probably try some stuff that's more high end at department stores r ULTA though instead of the cheaper drugstore brands.

Neither. Not for me, anyway. I have sensitive skin and w/the exception of Aveeno, most over-the counter product is too harsh for my skin. Did you follow the regimen completely that your dermatologist suggested? He's the skin expert that you should listen to. Besides, it takes time for acne to clear up. What about birth control? Some people take birth control specifically for hormonal balance for skin issues.

I had a breakout a few months ago for the first time ever! I was so desperate and trying product after product to no avail. I'm 26 yr old and that's just normal, especially when I never had acne; not even as a teenager. What finally worked? Origins organic product line. That's what I have been using and will continue to use their product. It's awesome! Though, a bit pricey.

I actually use both, and they both work really great :D

I started a new cleansing routine and after about 2 weeks my skin is SO much better! Here's what i do,

I put acne free cleanser on my face, and then use the Neutrogena Wave to get it all down into my poors and all that jazz, then I use the Acne Free toner.

After that, I use Clean and Clear Morning Glow moisturizer, (extra under your eyes!) and then clean and clear advantage acne spot treatment.

Use it spot treatment 3 times a day if you can, it really makes a difference. During the day i just rub it into my skin, and at night if i see something trying to sprout up i'll put a blob of it on my skin. And it smells really good! Doenst smell like acne medication at all.
