  1. The obvious are the Mosquito Rings and Muskol Deep Woods

Odd sounding but effective Regular Listerine and Dryer Sheets.  I thought it was a prank when someone told me, but they really work.  You get regular Listerine and dab some of it around you neck and ears and they won't bother you.  Or take a dryer sheet and fold it around the collar of your shirt.  They sound stupid but it definitely work for this years camping trips.  I preferred the Listerine because it's more like a cologne smell and you can put it in a spray bottle.

  2. There is a product on the market called a Thermacell.

It takes a small canister (put in the bottom) and the cannister lasts over 10 hours.  Then there is an insect matte that fits under the "grill".  The whole thermacell fits in your hand, width size and is about 7 or 8 inches long.

They make the thermacell in white, black and camo.

    Very easy to operate.

The mattes only last about 4 hours, but this thing is unbelievable!!!

Works really well, is very light weight and the bugs "run for the hills" within a few seconds after the thermacell is running.

You have to check this out.

I sell these things to adults like candy to kids!!!

    They work for sure.

I let a guy I work with try one and he came back in to the store and bought one and is going to get one for his wife.

    A great invention!!!!!!!!!!!

Less than $30 and will last a life time.  Thermacell makes value packs at reasonable prices for the outdoor enthusiast.

I work at a large sporting goods store in Mich and we see a pile of these every year.

    THERMACELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. the mosquito rings (smoke makers) - DEET.
