What would Brett Favre's fantasy football impact be if he left Green Bay?

Are there teams that he could go to where he would significantly raise the value of some of that team's existing players? If so, which teams and what players would benefit?

  1. I don’t think Green Bay would trade him, but if they did I believe he would have an impact just about on any team. Rumors say Miami might be looking forward to make a trade Bret for Taylor. If he plays for Miami Ronnie Brown RB and Ted Ginn's WR fantasy value would sky rocket. Other teams I heard were interested are Minnesota or Chicago. If Bret were to go to Minnesota forget it with their defense and AP in the back field they would be one tuff team to beat. Minnesota just pick up Berrian WR from Chicago and they had Sidney Rice WR, who is going on his second year. I think Rice has a lot of potential and if farve was to play for Minnesota it would be chaos.

  2. im guessing your a GB packer fan.. well im not but i dont think he will stop playing for the packers..

  3. On paper, there are a handful of teams that make sense:

    Green Bay

    Chicago

    Atlanta

    NY Jets

    Carolina

    Kansas City

    Tampa

In all cases, the talent in other skill posistions would be boosted by Favre's presence.

As a Michael Turner owner, I hope he goes to Atlanta.

I don't think you can speculate on where he'll go (if), but it will affect draft strategy,

  4. I think so many things change if he were to enter into another contract with another team. (Which honestly looks probable.) First of all, the familiarity changes. He's not used to play8ing with the players, the atmosphere, the fans, the playbook, etc. His recievers change as well.Marty Booker, Brandon Lloyd are pretty much the biggest names on the Bears WR corps. (This is the team I THINK he'll go to, because leass changes. (distance, and climate) Those WRs aren't huge names, so he'll have to form different plays, and a different strategy.  I think his fantasy value may go down.

Listen, I'm a Wisconsinite, and a Packer fan for life! This Favre thing is really pissing me off. If he DOES go to a rival team like I suspect, then I will have lost all respect for the man, and he'll be hard pressed getting into Green Bay for away games.

  5. I do not think so. he might come to Chicago or Minnesota if released and if traded Baltimore or Miami

  6. it has too. if you get a HOF QB then your receivers will do better, but the backs may fall. it is a win- lose situation.
