What would Earth be like without hurricanes?

I don't think anyone would really miss them but the National Hurricane Center wouldn't have much to do....

It would be nice. No more worrying about death of innocent people and property damage due to hurricane winds.

It would be a warmer place.  Hurricanes serve to remove a lot of oceanic heat energy, which builds up during the springs and summers as the Sun beats almost straight down on the tropical waters.  Thus they actually work to alleviate global warming.
