Okay I just asked a question about if I should go to my dads funeral, hes my biological father, he payed child support, but we just never met.

Now Im curious on what I would be entitled to, I know if theres no will then Im legally entitled to like 1/3, im not sure but what if there is a will and Im not in it, which I know Im not, but can I do anything about that since that is my father. Or do I have no rights when it comes to that??

  1. If you're not in a will I don't believe you have any rights because that was a legal document and he could choose any way he wants to disburse his money

  2. if there is no will you split everything he had with his wife and any siblings. if there is a will and youre not in it, you can contest it for the division i mentioned previously or if there is something specific that you want.
