  1. If your credit is good enough to qualify, you might be able to finance the entire bike on a Suzuki credit card.

  2. You ever buy a motor vehicle before? If not, you are looking at the wrong bike. How about an SV650? If you are a credit union member you may not need a down payment. Banks deserve their shabby lot these days.  The dealer may offer financing. If your credit score is over 675 you'll be ok and get  good rate. If your score is tanked youll get an interest rate around 28% after a hefty down.

BTW have you talked to your insurance man yet?

If you are < 25 and you have a few tickets, single with no HS ed. be sure he is sitting on the toilet when you say GIXER 1000 , full coverage. ( I'll estimate $3000 per year).

  3. harley has a new program on right now, where you can try out any of thier bikes free for a whole month,(insurance included !)if you decide you dont want it,it doesnt cost you a penny, and if you do decide to keep it,you can buy it as a used bike at 30% off the regular price....what a deal !!!call any harley dealer and ask them about it,better still,go in person and you can pick out the one you want while youre there.

    good luck and have fun

  4. Depends if you're financing through the dealer, through your bank, and how your credit score is...

try the dealer and your own personal bank first, especially if you belong to a credit union you'll get a better intrest rate in the long run.

  5. you'll need a down payment unless the dealer specifically says "no down payment required."  but I would highly doubt that since the bike you're looking at is fairly expensive
