My best friend is going out with this guy we met at a party. He tells her that he loves her...when they dont even have a month together & when he is still trying to get back with his ex...his almost 30 years old and he tells her that he is the most feared gangbanger when in reality no one has heard of him...he tells her he doesnt do drugs when everyone sees him snorting powder...His one of those people that make up lies about themselves to seem more important. And when he is telling the truth, he stretchs it out so much it sounds ridiculous..the problem is everyone sees it exept my friend...I dont know what to do...Should i tell her & break her heart or should i just wait until this whole thing blows in her face and be there for her when she needs me?

  1. you have to tell her even if she gets mad...unfortunatley it might take a while, but she will realize that you were right and you just care about her...just be gentle about it

  2. You can tell her, but be prepared that she's not going to believe you and she's going to continue to see him anyway and she may not speak to you because she'll probably misinterpret your concern as jealousy or wanting to "take her man from her."  I would say something to her about being concerned about what he tells her and the fact that he is probably using drugs.

Best thing is to pray that she sees the light and doesn't get pregnant or an STD from him.

Good luck and God bless your friend.

  3. i cannot answer for jesus but there are two things to consider. 1st she needs to know because she will get hurt, get in over her head, and this could be destructive. 2nd you dont want her to turn on you for prying into her business. We would suggest you tell her the truth about this "feared gangbanger" and risk her getting mad at you.

  4. This sounds like it may be a case of love is blind. Fortunately, there is something you can do that is much better than telling her about the apparent danger ahead. Sometimes it's better for blind lovers to see the danger for themselves. Try to arrange it so that she catches him in one or more of his lies. This way, she can actually see it for herself and you will prove your faithfulness to your best friend. I wish I had a best friend looking out for me like you're looking out for her.
