What would Junior fans do if he switched to TOYOTA?

Question

Most of JR NATION seem to hate TOYOTA. So hypothetically speaking, how would it make you feel if he went from the "dark side" (HMS) to the "House of Japan"

Don't say he wouldn't, because I am talking hypothetically, so give me a hypothetical answer. He has left other places before and went to places no one thought he would, so why wouldn't he go to TOYOTA?

Would you still be his fan 110% or realize that he is a traitor once and for all?

3 of my favorite drivers drive Chevy's though the manufacturer stopped making good cars a long time ago.

Junior will never leave Chevy.

Let me guess...he's a traitor because he had an opportunity to go to the best Chevy team out there and he chose to leave a subpar team to do so?

I guess I'd be a traitor too, because I'd have done the same exact thing...as much as I disliked HMS last year, Rick would have been the first guy I would have went to for a job.

He's a traitor is he, oh because he left a place that he was never going to win with, a team owner that NEVER supported him or even showed up to watch any of the teams race.  Yea that's a traitor for sure.  He should have stayed put and forgot about his dreams and goals and just watched his life go by.  

No he had to move on, he had to follow his dreams just like his daddy did when he was exactly Juniors age.  Junior has good equipment, good team members and total support now and just look where he is today......3rd in Points.   His daddy would be so very proud of the strong young man he raised.

I would be extremely, let me repeat extremely unhappy if he ever went to Toyota. I don't ever see that happening but as for your hypothetical question of would I still be a fan?  Yes I would.  I support Junior 100% regardless of who he drives for, who his sponsors are or which manufacturer name is on the car.   I am a fan and I will always be on Junior's side.

Realize that more toyotas are built in the United States than any of the "Big Three" so there is no reason to hate them.

That's a tough one...it would depend a lot on if Kyle Busch still drove a Toyota. I would still root for him and he'd be my favorite driver no matter what. But man...that would SUCK!

Jr is a loyal person. To his fans, team, car manufacturer, and sponsors. When he learned keeping Budweiser as a sponsor was out of the question he still made the statement that Bud would still be his number one choice of beer.

With that being said, if he was forced into a Toyota (like Stewart was) then his fans would know where his loyalty is,,, with Chevrolet.

See Jr tried to be loyal to DEI. He could have drove for another team a long time ago but said that he wanted to stay with DEI and help get DEI a championship. He stayed until it hurt his career. Just another example of his loyalty.

Jr fans knows where his loyalty lies. Rick Hendrick is also known to let people out of their contracts early. I think that would be an option if Jr didn't care to drive a Toyota. That may be a difficult choice because he has worshiped Rick since he was a kid and has always wanted to drive for Rick.

Then again hypothetically speaking Rick would never go to Toyota....RIGHT...???

how do you figure most junior fans hate toyota? i drive a camry myself. if HMS went toyota we would follow him there just like we did when he went to HMS in the first place, because that's what loyal, dedicated fans do. bandwagon fans like yourself wouldn't understand that. and BTW, leaving that sinking ship known as DEI does not make junior a traitor, it makes him smart. for starters, if it wasn't for juniorts incredible popularity, DEI would have gone bankrupt in the years following dale sr's death. but teresa decided she didn't need junior, she basically told him do things my way or see ya. now she's wishing she had given a little more i'll bet, as DEI continues to go downhill while junior's thriving at HMS.how's the great mark martin doing in that 8 car? not too good, huh? how are the t-shirt sales there now? havn't seen a single person yet this year in a #8 mark martin hat or shirt, but the #88 gear is out in force. so i predict teresa will continue to run her late husbands company into the ground, and she will continue to s***w dale earnhardts kids out of their birthrite. (with the exception of HER daughter taylor of course, i'm sure she'll inherit what little is left of the company )

All NASCAR race cars are fabricated and built in the good ol' U.S.of A. Switching from one American made car to another wouldn't make much difference. NASCAR racing is a pure American sport.

He won't. He said his dad had most of his success and wins in a Chevrolet (had some wins in a Ford) and that is what he would drive. I think Rick Hendrick will stay with Chevy. Many thought Junior would go to JGR, but when he found out they would field Toyotas he went to Hendrick and Chevys.
