What would Paul the psychic octopus predict about Formula 1 if he were still alive? (Part 2)
Octopus Paul is just getting there but analysis is very important and it seems that Paul will not count out Mercedes or anyone else now would he?
It seems that McLaren and Ferrari are left up for the title in 2011 but wait; they have another competitor – the mighty Team Mercedes.
Team Mercedes includes Michael Schumacher my old friend, Ross Brawn, and Nico Rosberg. The team does not care much about Nico Rosberg, so let’s rule him out in the beginning. The reason why the team does not care about him is that he is not Michael Schumacher,
and he dared to beat Michael while being in his same team. And this is a sin when it comes to a team that has Ross Brawn and Michael Schumacher in it, at the same time.
Therefore, Mercedes is quite obviously going to do everything in its power to show the world that they do not prefer Michael Schumacher over Nico Rosberg in anyway and that the team is treating both of their drivers equally, even when they are not. As a
result of confusion and unforeseen circumstances, Mercedes will not be able to come up with a car that would enable the drivers to decrease the huge gap between them and the top running teams in terms of pace. Hence, Mercedes is out of the question. Period.
Last but not the least... Here comes RenaultF1, or even better, Lotus Renault GP who recently signed with Group Lotus for the 2011 Formula 1 season, might have a chance of challenging the top running teams. Since the team now has a reliable backing and an
extremely talented driver like Robert Kubica, the team might want to go forward, but it seems that Group Lotus would not want to rule out Vitaly Petrov in their attempt to keep things as smooth as possible. They might score a couple of podiums or maybe a win
or two, but they won’t be able to focus on a particular driver and as a result, they won’t harm the top running teams as much as we thought they would. Instead, they would focus on the newly learnt Shakira-type “waka waka” dance.
In the end, Octopus Paul is again left with McLaren and Ferrari. Since Lewis Hamilton is having some personal problems and until and unless he proves himself, he won’t rest so he’s going to be a tough competitor, as he hopes to impress a p***y cat doll...again.
On the other hand, we have Jenson Button but he doesn’t need to impress Jessica Michibata anymore so he’s out of the question. He has already won a championship and many hearts, and Jessica clearly doesn’t want that to happen again.
As for Ferrari or should we say Fernando Alonso, it is probable that he might give Lewis a tough challenge, and since his “personal problems” might keep him busy once again, Fernando may win the 2011 Formula 1 season. If he doesn’t, he would break anything
that comes near him even if it is a black round faced driver filled with liquorice dating a p***y cat doll.
Resultantly, Octopus Paul would predict that Fernando Alonso would win the title because that is the only thing he hopes to achieve in life. Titles, titles, and guess what, more titles. Therefore, Paul would only say Fernando Alonso; perhaps only because
he doesn’t want to die.....again, and this time by the hand of an angry Spaniard perhaps in a Spanish oven.
