If Nibiru (aka planet x, tenth planet, etc) actually hit earth on 12/21/2012 (end of Mayan calendar), what do you think our US govt would do? Consider that the gov't has known about it since its initial discovery several years ago.

  1. I'm glad you know about a planet that has escaped the notice of everyone else .GOOD JOB!

the Mayan calender runs out in 2012 the same way the Christian calender ran out in 1999...or for that matter the way the one on my wall runs out in 350 days.

The Alvarez asteroid that hit the Gulf of Mexico way back when and caused a multi year planet wide cloud cover that killed off all the dinosaurs was about 3 miles across....so an actual planetoid hitting the Earth would make another asteroid belt circling the sun at 93,000,000 miles to compliment the one outside of Mar's orbit.

  2. Their power would probably fall apart so it doesn't matter.

  3. The mayans were obviously retarded like most people not from Eurasia in ancient times.

  4. i think we would all be doomed....or govt will try to make plans to go to mars or live somewhere else...but not likely since they cannot get everyone off the earth

so i think it would be the end

  5. First they would call up NASA and get them working on a plan to divert it before it enters our gravitational field.  Meanwhile the defense department would cough up enough supplies and shelter to attempt to save anybody of importance, but NASA would be our only real hope.  If they made one mistake we'd all be toast.  Have a nice day.

  6. If the U.S. government in 2012 is anything like it is now, I'm sure they will handle it precisely the same way they handled hurricane Katrina. That is, deny knowledge of it, run to the hills and let everyone else scramble for cover.

  7. It wouldn't matter. If anything as big as a planet, or even a medium size asteroid, actually hit Earth, it would kill us all. The smaller asteroids that sometimes pass close to Earth and make the news are MUCH smaller than any planet.

There is no such planet as Nibiru and if there was every back yard astronomer would have seen it already, including me.
