  1. The conception in zero gravity would probably not change much, but if it was developing the whole time while in zero-gravity, it would probably have some serious problems. Take for example the fact that when Astronauts return from space after an extended period of time.  They can suffer form bone loss and other serious health problems. I would imagine that a fetus would probably not only suffer the same loss, but would most likely develop with long term bone problems.

  2. The baby would have muscular and skeletal deficiencies.

  3. 1.  It might not even develop correctly.  It could be deformed or not even survive to birth.

    2.  Yes it would be very weak.  Going to Earth would probably be fatal for a baby who gestated in low gravity.

    3.  For ethical reasons, nobody has tried this.

  4. No one's tried it yet. Near term pregnant women aren't   allowed to fly on planes. So lift off on a rocket ship might be disastrous for mom to be and bubs . Conceiving and going full term in space in its self may not be good either. Long term exposure to zero gravity weakens muscles, thins bones and cell damage due radiation. This radiation expose would be a disaster for a developing embryo; probably cause cancer!

  5. the womb is a pretty good zero gee simulation.

i think the baby would be okay, unless it was born in micro-gravity, too.

  6. It would be like a baby being born with gravity...just without the gravity.

What would eating a banana in zero gravity be like?

  7. freakin deformed......if the parents were related.

  8. The same as a baby born in normal gravity. The type will be determined by its parents.
