What would a husky x blue heeler cross be like?

Question

I'm thinking about getting anther dog and just saw an add for a husky/ heeler pups.

I've had blue heelers before so I know what to expect from them but what would you expect the husky side to be like?

i would say, adopt a homeless cattle dog:they are smart but, obedient.

huskies are smart and independent, stubborn, and prone to wandering/roaming.Very hard to train.Most huskies i meet, the owners walk them on a leash:cant be let loose.

Huskies are very loving and sweet. Yes, they can be active, but not as active as a Parson Russell Terrier. They are sled dogs and love cold so are not comfortable in summer or hot spring.

Here are some photos of 2 husky cross blue heelers, but keep in minde that crosses of the same breeds wont allways look the same or even simaler, even litter mates can look tooaly difrent.

As for the personality agen it will differ from dog to dog and will depend on how you raise the dog. But your best bet would be to look on the 2 breeds clubs and see what they say there general temperment is like that way yo will be fullly prepared.

It would be insane!! Very active and extremely smart! A mix of those two dogs would really keep you on your toes.A lot of exercise and "work" would be mandatory for both you and the dog to stay sane!! Plan on buying a lot of toys and playing a lot of frisbee,and early obedience classes are a must.

Edit: LOL,insanity is no reason not to get the pup! All of my dogs are insane,and I love them to death! You get used to it! ;D

If he gets some husky personality in him, be prepared for digging and howling. These are some things a husky will do. I'm not sure about a blue heeler x husky, but he could get a little of this in him

I was looking at getting a husky but was warned they could be aggressive and possessive and as i have a cat too decided against it. it depends what the heeler is like and the temprament of the parents?

I have a Northern Inuit now and she is so loving.
