  1. King snakes primarily feed on other snakes. As for the time of day, it depends on what time of year and what the temperature outside is. Snakes are cold blooded and are active when the temperature is most comfortable for them, avoiding extreme heat and cold.

  2. Kingsnakes typically eat whatever they can catch, rodents, other snakes, birds, frogs, etc. As for activity levels at what time of day, it depends a lot on the day and the weather...  on a cold day, snakes need to find somewhere warm and may spend all day in one spot, on an extremely hot day they can also spend all day in one spot if it's cool enough... Typically, however, this time of year, the best time to find a snake moving around is early morning before the heat of the day sets in.

  3. sunset, sunrise =) they are most active

and they pretty much eat anything that will fit in their mouths, including other snakes, rodents, frogs, salamanders, and so forth.
