What would a lady prefer ?

my wife's birthday is coming up....and I bought her some jewelry already and I'm going to have roses for her on the day of her birthday...but I have to go to work early while she's still sleeping......would it be better if I left the roses and jewelry for her to find when she wakes up with a card....or should I wait until I get home to give it to her myself????

I think it would be nice to leave them right by the bed side so she see them when she wakes up!

Have the roses delivered> with the card> The Jewelry when you get home>with a bottle of her favorite> Don't forget the cake>

Leave them out for her to find.  I woke up this morning to a card from my husband.  I LOVE THAT!  Otherwise she might be a little bummed all day that she doesn't have anything shiny to play with :-)

Personally it would be great to wake up to something like that.

Have her find them! Make a game of it. Have the roses on the table with a card, hinting to the jewlery, then when she finds that one, have another one. Maybe 4-5 cards, and then have the jewelry at the end. All day, she will be anticipating your return and wont think you forgot about her birthday!

i would say leave her the rose for her to get it in the morning and give her the jwelery when u meet in the evening. or better wake her up with breakfast in bed with the rose and jwelery

leave her the flowers to find in the morning  and wait until you get home  after the romantic dinner ( which you said nothing about.. hint) to give her the jewelry..

Make it sort of a scavenger hunt  leave little clues to follow if she doesn't have to go off to work herself.  

If you can't do that, then leave them on your pillow.

do something for her in the morning, or at least leave the card, and give the presents in person when you get home..... she will understand you have to work, but would much prefer you to give her the presents and flowers personally i would say :)
