  1. For math, definitely a good calculator that she is familiar with.  By this time students are using calculators nearly every day and buying a good one now will only help her through pre algebra and beyond in high school.

  2. there should be a supplys list  but if u forget somin just barrow from ur friends

  3. If you go to Office Max or Staples they willl have a list for all grades for the schools in the area.

  4. If you go to "Staples" they have a handout of what is needed according to grade level.  It's a pretty thorough list.  I think the best thing to do is just buy the basics-- pen, pencil, highligher, paper, book cover.  On the first day of class the teacher should tell you what is needed.

  5. Hmmm you really ought to look at the supplies list for your school at Wal-Mart(they have a huge thing set up with the list on it)or go check you're school's website(they usually have it posted up whenever your school's about to start again. But for math you'll need a sciencific caculator, binders of course, pencils, pens, index cards(most schools don't ask for those but they're good for studying).

  6. If your in band...an instrument preferably a trumpet

HSE RCG.....2007 MSBA AA GRAND CHAMPIONS

  7. These supplies should be what she would need:

    A bookbag

(Plus, Drawstring bag if she needs to change for Phys. Ed.)

1 large pack of #2 pencils (not mechanical!)

1 pencil/pen pouch (should be carried around all day)

1 pack colored pencils (Teachers will usually have, when needed)

1 pack colored markers (Teachers will usually have, when needed)

    1 pack blue/black pens

1-pack red pens (Optional, but good to have.)

1 pack highlighters (Pack of 3, different colors.)

5 three ring binders (at least 1 1/2 inches wide)

    2 glue sticks

2 pack wide rule notebook paper

1 pack graph paper (I never needed it, but it might be good to have on hand.)

1 pack notebook paper reinforcement rings.  (LIFESAVER!)

5 packs of 5 tab dividers

5 book covers (NOT STICKY KIND.  Stretchy Book Sox, or you can make them from paper bags!)

1 math protractor (Medium plastic size would do.)

1 flash drive (It depends if she will do computer work. If so, this is a must-have.)

Extras, good to have just in case, but provided in rooms by teachers:

    box of facial tissues

    hand sanitizer, or wipes

    packs of pencils (for home)

packs of notebook paper (for home)

Remember, always stay stocked up on supplies.

Individual teachers may ask for special items as the year progresses.

  8. The first day of school you just need paper and pencils. The teachers will tell your sister the rest of the supplies.
