What would a used pair of sixe 14 skis cost if i bought them in colorado after the holiday??

i am a beginner at skiing i am going to Colorado to go skiing and want to buy a pair of used downhill skis. dont know much about the different styles and such. but i live in Wisconsin and i was told i can get cheaper used skis out there is this true. and what should i expect to pay for boots binding skis and poles? thanks for the help
