  1. "Snow idea" hahaha, my vote for best answer.

I think it would be impossible for an Eskimo to be a veggie,

Eskimos claim that killing animals is part of their heritage. I hate that. Firstly, why honor a heritage that involves murder. Secondly, in the past, one could argue that the Eskimo hunts gave the non-humans a good chance and which is as respectful as predators can be to their pray. However, nowadays (in most cases), the Eskimos hunt on snowmobiles and guns. I can't help but to see and Eskimo with a sack full of dead Baby seals.

  2. Iceberg lettuce !

  3. R-ice...ha ha

  4. 'snow' idea

  5. Whatever vegetarian friendly food they sold at the local store. This isn't the 1800s. They have towns and stores ya know.

  6. sno cones!

  7. Frozen Peas

  8. lol.

nothing i suppose.....but then again, why in the world would ANYBODY want to be an eskimo?! it's freakin freezing up there....

EDIT:  sno cones?! genius, person below me.

  9. fish

  10. nothing.. because dead people don't eat!!

but all kidding aside, most eskimoes/inuits these days don't hunt for food and buy their food from stores.. so a vegetarian eskimo would eat the same foods you eat.

  11. Are there any vegetarian eskimo's ?

  12. yellow snow.lol

  13. Eskimo is an outdated term and many people find it offensive.  Inuit or Inupiat who are vegetarians most likely live in larger communities with access to supermarkets where they have canned and frozen produce among other things that are flown or trucked in during the winter.

  14. Bearing in mind that I'm not sure humans are supposed to naturally live in conistent sub zero temperature regions, this is a bit of an unusual question.

I'm impressed at the way in which eskimo peoples have adapted to the difficult conditions, but as a result of their mainly sea mammal and fish based diets, they have some of the highest rates of heart disease, blood pressure, and hypertension in the world.

So based on that, I wouldn't much want to be an eskimo myself, whether veggie or not.

  15. A walrus made out of tofu on a bed of snow peas.

  16. Whatever vegetarian friendly food they sold at the local store. This isn't the 1800s. They have towns and stores ya know.

I'm a legend in my own mind.

  17. I dont think there is any such thing its a case of eat it to stay alive, which all of us would do, veggies as well.

  18. ice-poles

  19. Well, being that vegetarians still eat dairy products (vegans dont), may I suggest eggs and cheese and ice cream and milk...duh! Vegetarians dont eat fish though (no meat, fish is considered meat)...just fyi.

Also, these days eskimo's have the ability to obtain goods from other countries and other parts of thier region, so they can get what ever the h**l they want to eat.

  20. They would starve. May be some seaweed but would die eventually due to the minimal diet.

  21. I doubt you will find one living up North.  It would be way too exspencive.  Everything that is not game meat has to be trucked or flown in, and there is usualy no return cargo to lower the cost.
