What would be a Great Romantic Evenings?

I am looking for suggestions on what would be a really romantic evening without breaking the bank besides going to the movies?

The Perseids Meteor shower is going on right now. Go out into the country, far away from city lights, and watch the falling stars. Make wishes for each meteor. Take along a blanket and some wine, crackers, cheese, and fruit.

Here are some ideas:

- Picnic: you pack the basket and the wine and take a blanket to a park or pier and watch the sunset (do it indoors if it rains!)

- Stargazing: take a blanket and some wine after dark to the top of an open hill or the middle of an open field. Watch the stars come out. Find the constellations. Hold hands.

- Hiking: find a local trail. Take a camera and take in the views together. (The romance can be intensified with a waterfall.)

- Fine dining at home: cook a super romantic meal. Light taper candles. Wear a suit or tux. Give her a rose. Play some Barry Manilow and dance close.

- Camping: fire, marshmellows and snuggling to keep warm. Need I say more?
