  1. Eclectus would be your best choice out of those 3. Eclectus are very social birds, living in community naturally, so they are great for families. Eclectus also rival African greys for intelligence and speech clarity. They are however bigger birds, have a specialized diet ( including lots and lots of fresh fruit and veggies). Males are said to be more placid and more easily trained than females, although, not all people agree. Alexandrines are very individual and not easy to bond with, they are self sufficient birds and will only do things on their terms. Ringnecks are nice, but the Eckies are alot prettier and the Ringneck doesn't even go close with speech. Just be sure to spend alot of time with your bird and never 'punish' it.

  2. forget the bird, get a dog!

  3. i love the budgies easy to teach to talk but would be better in the avairy so they can fly

  4. i like the eclectus and the african grey. But u should get a eclectus. beacuse they are nice birds and not a one person bird (any bird could be a one person bird if not well socialized) but the other 2 birds will go throuth that HORRIBLE biting stage. dont fall for it i almost did u dont.  But just go to the store ur gonna get the bird and ask them questions or ask me. But if this is ur first bird start with a cockatiel but if u do ur rearsearch u maybe able to do it ( i am 12)

  5. get a budgie they are a great bird

  6. ring necks go through a really bad biting stage that may last a few months, by then you have to reteach the no bite and things, its like starting all over. thats the only reason i wouldnt get one of them but they are good birds when it comes to talking. Eclectus would be my choice they talk and are good birds but if you havnt had a bird before start small, with like a tiel' or something. As for the alexandrines from what i see they are the same as a ring necks

  7. i would go by indian ring necks, but why not trying budgerigars or cockatoos

  8. Birds in cages always make me very sad. A bird should be able to fly.

  9. for a star they all can bite just as hard but if you are buying them handraised then there will hardly be any biting apart from the play action or when they are trying to step up and loose there balance so you should be fine with either bird so decide which one u like best.

make sure you find a breeder that handles them not only for feeding but during other times because this will make them tamer. plus ask them what feeding method they have used if by a crop needle the bird may not be as tame because that is for quick feeding. try and get one thats been syringe or spoon fed. thats the best result
