  1. umm...

    here's some good choices:

-chocalate chip cookies (nice, original, sweet desert)

-cheesecake (sweet, can have decorative icing to be creative)

    -cupcakes with colored frosting (colorful)

    -brownies (totally original)

    -ice cream

as for family homecoming, i would do all except for icecream.

plus, if you do all, everybody has a chance to get their favorite desert, and some might not like some, but like another.

    5. Spoon 1/3 of remaining raspberry sauce into bottom of 6-8 parfait or sundae glasses. Top each with a scoop of ice cream. Add a second layer of raspberry sauce, and top with the sour cream. Spoon the remaining raspberry sauce over sour cream and top with a second scoop of ice cream.

    6. Drizzle parfaits with the reserved raspberry sauce. Garnish with mint sprigs.

    Orange Chantilly cream

    12 medium navel oranges

  6. How about a cheesecake?  You could make a plain cheesecake and then have a couple of different choices for toppings.  Kind of a make your own cheesecake type thing.

  7. I have a favorite.  People love it and you can make it any flavor you like.

    Pudding Fluff

    2 cps milk

2 sm box of Jell-o Instant Pudding any flavor you choose

16 oz container of Cool Whip

Graham Cracker or Oreo Cookie Crust

Put the milk in a mixing bowl, add the pudding mix.  Whisk until blended, quickly fold in the Cool Whip.  Scoop into the graham cracker or Oreo crust and refrigerate.  This is also good frozen.

Cheesecake version, use a potato masher to blend 8oz of softened cream cheese into the milk before adding the pudding mix and use Vanilla pudding.  I like layering the cream cheese version with chocolate.  A can of berry or cherry pie filling is real good over the cream cheese version.

Peach Crisp - I’ve doubled this in a 9x11 dish.

4-5 cups fresh peaches - peeled, pitted and sliced

    1 tablespoon Minute Tapioca

    ½ cp quick cooking oats

½ cp honey granola (2 Quaker Crunchy Granola bars, (Oats, Nut & Honey), crushed)

    ½ cp all-purpose flour

    ½ cp packed brown sugar

    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

    1/4 teaspoon ground allspice (optional)

    1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

    ¼ cp butter

    Whipped topping

    Vanilla Ice Cream

    Caramel Ice Cream Topping

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, combine the oats, granola, flour, brown sugar, spices and nuts. Cut in the butter until crumbly.

Place peach slices in an 8-inch square baking dish. Sprinkle with tapioca and gently toss the peaches a bit. Scatter the oat mixture over the peaches.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.

  8. chocolate cake  and  maybe a ice cream to go with  it yum yum

  9. cream cheese brownies or chocolate chip brownies!

Apple cake with harvest time coming! Or Apple pie!

    Cheesecake is good!
