  1. Go with something that has atleast a 750rms and that is not a "bo bo" amp. Spend some money to get something that is quality. You have some great subs.

  2. since they are SVC subs and 4ohms they can be wired to give you impedances of 2 or 8ohms at the amp---- the lower the final impedance at the amp the lower the sound quality but the easier/cheaper it is to power and 2ohms will sound fine)

so you need an amp that has about 900watts RMS @ 2ohms (mono block) and is also CEA-compliant which means that the amp has been tested and produces or exceeds tha advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion (distortion is the main cause of speaker damage)

    here are the CEA-compiant brands

    Alpine

    Bazooka

    Blaupunkt

    Clarion

    Eclipse

    Infinity

    JBL

    JL Audio

    JVC

    Kenwood

    Kicker

    Memphis

    MTX

    Orion

    Pioneer

    Polk Audio

    PPI

    Rockford Fosgate

    Sony

check this site for some good prices on amps http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i23_m...

  3. Kenwood KAC-9103D amplifier. It pumps 900 TRUE watts, so 450w to the subs. perfect match at 2 ohms. If you want to go higher because Boston Acoustics can take the pounding, go for a Crunch P2500D I believe it's called. It has a remote bass control and many controls that will suit for these great woofers. Good luck and happy bass heading.
