What would be a good amp for a Kicker L5 12'?

I'm looking at getting a ZX400.1 from kicker, but I'm not sure that it has enough RMS. The woofer is 2 ohms, and rated for 600 RMS, but the amp is only 400 watts RMS at 2 ohms.

Is that close enough?

  1. If you only have one sub and it is a dual 2ohm voice coil you can not get a 2ohm load.

    Your only choices are 1ohm or 4ohm.
