  1. Hi Molly I studied aromatherapy so I know my way around. I have some of my articles published online and you can check them out and take notes from them.

  2. The smell of fresh baked cookies wafting through the air.

  3. say "the smell that makes you well" of  " if you smell, then I've got something to help you".

  4. I like the baking cookies idea.

Whatever it is...better make you attention grabber memorable, because the content of the "informative speech" is going to be pretty thin on evidence.

Nice smells are pleasant, and the olfactory lobe is the only part of the brain that is hardwired directly to the outside world. Smells can invoke memories..both good and bad.

However, any claims of "healing" with smelly things is bullshit.

  5. I'm in Toastmasters International and some of the speeches I've done I've brought the bottles of essential oils and wipes as demonstratioins.

  6. Okay, I know this is rediculous, but the last informative speech I heard, the speaker started out by bellowing "s*x!"  After that she started the speech.  It sure got everyone's attention.
