Nothing you have to even think about for a while at least.

  1. abstinence

  2. an IUD, mirena i would recommend. But it's best if you have a serious relationship, not jumpin from one guy to another, lol. So it depends on your lifestyle, but that is the only method i can think about, lol besides no s*x at all.

  3. well taking birth control you'll have to take it everyday until you stop being sexually active, but yaz is a good birth control

  4. An IUD would protect you from pregnancy for years without maintenance, but you'd be hard pressed to find a doctor who will give you one. The reason is because an IUD can greatly increase your risk of ectopic pregnancy, which is when the egg gets fertilized outside the uterus (usually in the fallopian tubes.) In that situation, the pregnancy must be terminated or the mother faces serious risks including sterility and death. Also, with each ectopic pregnancy a woman has, the risk for another one increases.

Because an IUD is so long term, and because it increases the risk for pregnancy complications even once removed, doctors generally only allow women who are older, in a stable relationship (multiple years with the same person) and who already have children to get the IUD.

For someone your age, looking for a low-maintenance birth control, I would suggest the Depo-Provera birth control shot - you get it every three months. The appointment takes about 5 minutes, and you can set the appointment whenever because you only need a nurse to do the injection.

  5. I'm guna throw out the obvious one, but abstinence.

Edit - dang, got beat to it...

  6. It sounds like you are talking about an IUD.  This is a tiny object that is placed inside you and works for about 5 years.  It works by keeping a fertilized egg from implanting on the wall of the uterus.  Look up IUD for more info.

  7. ive heard about the T . you just stick it up there and dont have to worry about it for a WHILE until you need to change it or decide you want kids . you should google it . i know i am . lol - im tired of the pills .
