What would be a good birthday present for a 6 yr old girl?

I'm clueless, I have boys and one of them is going to a girls birthday party, and she's turning 6. Any ideas on what to get her? Thanks a lot

    They have a tag with a code to make a virtual pet online at webkinz.com. I've never known a girl who didn't like them!

  7. My almost 6 year old loves stuffed animals, purses, fancy rocks, music, her outside pop up tent - any sort of jewelry.

  9. My 5 year old daughter's been to 2 6 year old friend's birthday parties in the past month. Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Littlest Pet Shop, and Disney Princess/Fairies seem to be pretty popular. Another option is to give her her own "stationary" with paper and pencils with her name on it.

    Or (this will sound a little odd) have your soon take a look at her back pack/shoes/other clothes if school is still in session. If there's a character on it, that will tell you what she's into. Plus, it'll give your son a lesson about reading people.

These are some of my 6 year olds favorite gifts:  Webkinz, any kind of arts and crafts (weaving loom was her favorite), a cool beach towel, diary (voice activated is pretty cool), the game Hyperdash (highly recommend) and Hyperslide (can get these at amazon.com or Target), jewelry box with costume jewelry, Junie B. Jones books OR Nancy Drew books (not the ones we used to read - these are geared toward 5-8 year olds).

    Things mine didn't like include:  anything Hanna Montana, Barbies, Polly Pockets
