I'm currently thinking of the Samsung i85 -specs here -

Does this seem like a fairly decent camera? Its plus points for me are its size, and decent optical zoom - not so hot points seem to be the speed of operation, and the facct it doesn't use off-the-shelf batteries.

If not this, then what else might be worth a look? 100 quid tops...

  1. Ignore the MP3 player , routefinder etc and go for a camera , with a very good optical zoom, and as many megapexels as you can get for your money. All the other gadgets , you will have on your other gadgets....but make your basic model camera more expensive....so something has to suffer....

Keep it basic (unless you want all the gadgets !?)

Personally I have a sat nav, I have a video camera, I have a digital recorder.....take all of those off , you will get a camera at least ttwice as good , by shopping around !!

I have 3 mobile phones , that are video cameras , mp 3's , games , voice recorders ,cameras etc all worth £500 each.....what do I use ? A £20 phone , with no gadgets , that the battery lasts for 3 days , once charged !!

    Brilliant !!

  2. Mega pixels are not everything, and you really dont need more than 6. Mine is 6, and had pics blown up to 50x70 cm, and they look great.

What I have listed for you is 7, and that is plenty.

Good luck with whatever you choose.
