Question:

What would be a good distortion pedal to play metallica?

right now i use a "Lyon, By Washburn-Distortion pedal" and it was $25. is this good for what i got or should i seek some else, and any good suggestions? i am also on a budget here so any thing under $150 would be good. i use an Epiphone explorer with a 100 watt fender bass amp. thanks.

  1. Ibanez Tube Screamer TS-9

    They use alot of different pedals, but this one gives an exact replica of the sound you're going for.  I'm teaching myself "Enter Sandman", lol, and I adore the pedal.


  2. I've always used the Boss DS-1, and I love it.  I don't play much metallica, but if you want a step up from what youve got, this is a great one.  i think i payed like 70 bucks for mine, but musicians friend, as always, has good deals going (40 bucks).  The link is below
