What would be a good excuse to use to get a court date changed? thanks!?

i live in NJ and the court is all the way in Louisiana.

Almost anything.  Call them and tell them you have an illness in the family or car trouble.  Really.  Piece of cake.

try telling them why you need it change they move dates around all the time, lie and they fine out and your word in court will be on the line. good  luck

Why don't you just tell them your reason?

If you have a good reason to have the date changed - then you should have no problem.  If you do not have a good reason - why not just show up won that date?
