What would be a good gift for a mom to be for her baby shower?

Everyone always just buys for the soon to be child but no one ever thinks of the mom so what would be a good gift for her? (BTW it is my sister)

Middle- A gift card to victoria's secret (add a note saying something like "get something sxy for yourself and hubby or b/f that way when baby comes to aunties for the 1st time mommy can have some fun.

Low end - a bath set

I think you could give her a gift card to a restaurant so she can take a break sometime, and then you could offer to babysit. If she has a boyfriend/husband, then she would probably love to get some alone time with the little new handful coming. Or you could get her a massage treatment. They have special ones for pregnant ladies. You could also take her to get a manicure or pedicure. This are some ideas that the mommy to be might like. But you know her best. Maybe a cd or dvd...

I would give her a gift card to a nice restaurant and volunteer to watch her new baby so she can relax on her evening out with her spouse. New moms ( or any mom for that matter) worry so much about being away from their newborn.Make sure your gift card does not have a short expiry date because your sister may feel guilty going out.

When I brought my new babies home, I was stuck to the couch breastfeeding for six weeks. TV gets old so get her some interesting reading material. A baby sign language book, house and garden magazines, Parents magazine, even some celebrity gossip mags.

I also found that bath time was escape for me as a new mother. So any type of amazing bath product to make mom feel rejuvenated.
