  1. Craft store gift card

    Restaraunt gift card

    Card designed by your son

Extra large children's books (the giant ones that children love)

    Movie theater tickets

Bath and Body works hand soap (we wash our hands a lot)

  2. Gift card for a nominal amount.  Flowers. Perfume. Lotions, bath soaps

  3. If i were you i would get her a giftcard to a bookstore. Some bookstores are borders or barnes and noble.

  4. NOT soap or chocolates!

How about a gift certificate?  For dinner, a manicure, a hobby store, a book store or something else she will use for herself.

If you don't want to spend a lot, then write a nice letter using details about why you and your son enjoyed going to her class and enclose it with a photo of your son with her in a nice frame.

    HTH,

    : )  P

    ds 9

    ds 7

  5. A gift certificate to the spa.

  6. A gift card....

  7. a basket with teacher items such as a stapler, markers, tape, etc

  8. I think you should get her something what she can spend on her. Like a giftcard or some flowers. And get your son to make like a memory book to her, Get him to right down his memorys about her and what he liked best what she had tought That would be realy sweet. :)

  9. Some flowers or card would probably be nice.!

  10. How about one of the larger candles?  The three wick kind.  Teachers get so many gifts, it would be better to get something they could actually use, than something they need to display.

  11. I am a teacher for toddlers, and my kids parents are always getting me giftcards. I like it better because I can go and get whatever I want.

  12. maybe its just me...but I'd just get an engraved pen for her...since most teachers I know like pens

  13. an apple!

i gave a teacher a chocolate apple that had a gummy worm in the middle... i think its from target, but my teacher loved it.

  14. have each parent but gift cards..then tie them on a small plant or tree in a goody bags. looks like a money tree..your teacher will like it.

  15. gift card to local resturant, or something she can use like toys for the kids- maybe a child book

  16. if she is u know... large get her some mcdonalds. if not then get something from the dollar store

  17. The gifts I have always enjoyed the most have been keepsakes made by my students or photographs of them.  Anything I can eat or bathe with is always good too.  ;)

I'm ashamed to say that I have tons of unused gift cards I've received.

  18. there's a site called Design Her Gals where you essentially design an avatar then can have them make coffee mugs, tee shirts, aprons or stationary with the avatar on it.  you can design the teacher and take it from there.  i did this last xmas for my friends, family and grandson's teachers and they were a huge hit.  seeing your self as a cartoon is pretty cool.  plus, they donate much of their proceeds to battling breast cancer so it's a holistic investment as well.

alternatively, a flowering plant with a note attached saying, thank you for helping me grow this year, is always appreciated.  i've attached these notes to wooden rulers and pressed it into the dirt.

  19. If you have any "teacher" store around you I would suggest getting her a gift certificate from there since teachers end up spending so much of their own money for the classrooms.  I have a store near me called "parent/teacher tools" and it has so much cool learning stuff!

  20. my mom likes the candle stuff and giftcards to cool stores. make the giftcard more than 15 cuz thats just cliche

  21. Get her a book for her classroom.  Check out Usborne Books for great ideas - http://www.ubah.com/g2687

  22. flower basket

  23. a basket either with flowers or lotion.....

  24. a cute charm bracelet..

  25. A propelling pencil

  26. As the mother of a preschooler, you can sometimes use a bit of rest and pampering, right?  As a preschool teacher, her day is filled with NUMEROUS preschool children.  I think a great gift would be either some sort of Day Spa gift certificate or, if that's a little pricey, hit up Bed Bath and Beyond and get all of the accouterments for a pampered night at home.  She'll LOVE it!!!

    Best of luck,

    CMM

  27. A plant, or flowers. Something perishable that she doesn't have to find a place to put it or store it.

  28. A gift card to staples or a place where she could get school supplies.

I'm a teacher and I really appreciate it when I get giftcards for school supplies.

We spend so much out of pocket and every little bit counts.

  29. Ask your child several questions about school and about his teacher - his favorite thing she did - what she smelled like (as long as it's a good answer) - their favorite activity they did - did she make him laugh - anything about preschool - put these things on separate pages and have your child illustrate it.   I had a mother do this for me last year and I LOVED it - it made me cry! I will keep it forever.
