All of us have done stupid things while driving, but how would you tell someone in the other car that you're sorry? Or would you?

  1. I suggest open hands, palms upward, with a shrug and a sheepish grin.

You could also use the ASL sign for "sorry" : rub your fist in a clockwise circle on the center of your chest. Unfortunately, that won't work too well if the other drivers don't know American Sign Language, or if they can't see your chest.

  2. A sorry wave.

  3. The universal sign for "I'm sorry" while driving should be a tap of the forehead with one's palm(epiphany), and then a peace sign (always with TWO fingers).

BTW, I was thinking of that same exact thing today.

  4. i usually just try to mouth "i'm sorry" and wave

it's really hard to signal to another car... lol maybe we should all learn morse code and just honk it

  5. oh my god. i was thinking the EXACT same thing one day.  how to say sorry while driving. and i cant even drive yet
