  1. Well that really depends on your saving goals, how long you want to invest, and many other things.  Bonds are a great way to make a tiny bit of extra cash without worry of losing money.  You probably don't have enough money to consider real estate very seriously.  I think stocks are a lot of fun.  Companies tend to grow in value much faster than a house, some gold, or baseball cards.  I would highly recommend a beginner's book to the stock market.  Pick something up at a local book store.  After that You should definitely read "the intelligent investor" by Ben Graham.  Warren Buffet read it at age 19.  The earlier you read that book the more money you will have in the future.  Good luck!!

  2. Glad to see you have $7000 to invest. There are many things you can invest money in: Stocks, Bonds, Term deposits, Mutual funds and commodities just to name a few. If you are new to investing it may be wise to seek the services of a certified professional financial adviser.

    Good luck

  3. Education.

  4. Hello,

Good investment is what you find the best and comfortable with. I dont know actually what are your investment perspective are. I am summarizing my point with the help of different situations.

    1. Long run with high profit motive: If you can deposit it for long then i should say, go for some real-estate as Fixed deposit has very low returns.

    2. Short run with high profit motive: then go for Forex rather than stock. As we all know the stock market is quite volatile and risky. With the same risk you would earn better in Forex. Many of my friends are have switched their trading to Forex because of the uncertainties involved in stock nowadays.

    3. Long run plus less risk: if you cant afford high risk then you should go for some government deposits or promissory notes. This would be safe but would fetch lower returns according to the time value of money.

    4. Short term less risk: Friend i have no suggestions here because you you better where you can put for short term.

As according to the market conditions i would suggest you for currency market only because this would fetch good returns with managed risk.
