  1. What is Anzac?

  2. we are having a leg of lamb in the campoven its great different and gets you out of the house into the yard. and of course homemade anzac biscuits

  3. I think that a nice roast lamb would be a good main course, as lamb is a traditionally 'Australian' meat.

For dessert, how about lamingtons or pavlova- I know they are probably more of an 'Australia Day' dessert, but it keeps an 'Australian' theme going.

  4. ditto .... hard to suggest anything if I've never heard of Anzac Day

  5. -Mussel and saffron soup.

-Hopkins River beef tenderloin served with green beans, horse radish cream and a red wine jus.

-Chocolate and coriander tart with lexia raisin ice cream.

That's what I would serve. If you didn't want to be so formal, you can never go wrong with a slow roast, cream potatoes and some autumn vegies.
