What would be a good name for a cleaning service? What should be on the flyer for the cleaning service?

My friend Crystal wants to clean houses to bring more money into her home and I'm helping by making up a flyer. I was thinking of name like "Crystal Clean" and then having it say something like "Your home will sparkle like crystal!"

Also, other than a price list and contact information, what other information should be on the flyer?

So far it looks good. (I like the Crystal Clear part) You should probably include how long it will take you to clean, and what type of products you use??

You absolutely could brand yourselves on something like that.

Whatever you do, make sure that you and your friend write something up in agreement that it's a partnership.

Personally, I would NOT put pricing on your flyers. Study the laws of marketing online as much as you can before, during, and after you go into business, it will help you a lot.

Rule #1: never give your prospects every tid bit of information they will need from you, on any advertisement medium.

Why?: Because now they have all the information they need, they don't need to call you, which means you can't close them, and they're going to keep shopping around to see what 'other' info they can gather from your competition.

I actually own a residential cleaning company out in Ohio, and I am funding myself out via my online business of 2.5 years. Cleaning is great money (at first!) then about a year or so down the line, it gets really old :)

Crystal Clean is wonderful!!

I would make the flyer as to the point as possible.  State it in a conversation sort of way that tells the customer how her services will help THEM.  You need to get what the benefits to the customers are very clear so they have an interest in pursuing the service.

I would even include a graphic of someone relaxing in a bubble bath with an immaculately clean bathroom that sparkles its so clean (hence the customer will now have the free time to relax).
