  1. It is ballet, just a different form, lol.

I used When You Wish Upon A Star for my last pointe dance, and it was really good.

  4. Hi there,

Your question is a little unclear.  I will assume that by asking for a good "pointe song", you mean a good song to choreograph a dance en pointe to.  I will check back later to see if you have clarified your question.

It depends wholly on what kind of dance you prefer to do.  I choreographed a piece once to a song called "Butterfly's Day Out", by Yo-Yo Ma.  It was very peaceful and acoustic sounding.  It was a classical piece with the tiniest hint of modern, and the girls were en pointe.

I also choreographed an interesting lithurgical piece to a version of Amazing Grace.  The piece had no instrumentation; it was purely vocal, and it was pretty.  It wasn't for the person above me, because it wasn't a company and it wasn't affiliated with any studio.  It was just me and a couple of my friends.  The girl who performed it was a lovely dancer, and she had an American flag draped over her.  It was lovely; the corps was pretty small, about ten people, and the all lifted her up and it was beautiful when they performed because they were all so trusting of each other, and could really get into the piece.  They were lovely dancers.

I hope that helped.  If you have any more questions, feel free to contact me.♥
