Would six, seven or five figures for your salary, be more than average for those in korea? This is according to won, of course. Also, specific numbers of salary above average for those that are in working class. (the ones that are not rich but aren't dirt poor).

Thank you,.

  1. lol 6 figures lets say 100,000 won would only be about 100 us dollars.

    1US dollar is about 1000won.

  2. Depends what you do in Korea. Are you single?

Do you have somewhere to stay? More info.....

  3. i've study in korea for two years with a salary of 400,000 won a month and its just enough for the student...meaning you can live poorly with that salary...

minimum salary here is around 1,000,000 won

so for you to live in a comfortable life, maybe 1,500,000 to 2,000,000 won would be enough.

  4. it depends where your living.. I mean most korean apartment never go below $1000 or 1,000,000 won a month... so I would say something that makes at least 2,000,000 won a month would be sufficient.

  5. A salary of 2,000,000 Korean Won would be pretty good. The exchange rate is $1=1,011 but it has been in flux quite a bit lately.

  6. Salaries will vary in different locations and depending on your qualifications and employment setting.More information, tips and help at http://moreaboutsalary.blogspot.com/
