What would be a good side deck against a gladiator and/or six samurai deck?

royal oppression, pay 800 life points to negate a special summon, but theis can lower your own life points quite fast, also, they have to begin the summon 1st, so as the special summon is unsuccesful, the monster is destroyed.. but!

do not use this against grandmaster of the six samurai, as his effect will return him to the hand.

any anti fusion cards to prevest gyzerus from a gladiator beast deck, that card is evil, needs to be dead >.<

i have a friend which runs six samurai and one which runs gladiator beasts, and know the stress, skill drain is a must, run a vanilla(normal monster) deck with all the magic and traps to go with, and they have no chance, skill drain is a good card to prevent thier effects.

2 shield crush for gladiators, 2 needle ceiling for sams, 1 mirror force for both (been a good long while since i've actually dared to put this into my own mainboard)
