What would be a good team in pokemon fire red without trades and the first time beating the e4?

Firstly, you should have your pokemon to atleast level 60, cause the champions highest pokemon is level 65.

If i shall begin... The first of the elite focus's on water and ice, so get any pokemons that have preferably electric (against his water) and fighting (against his ice) attacks because they come in handy when you verse the champion aka your rival. The second of the elite four are fighting and rock types, so get water (for his rock) and psychic (for fighting) and they too come in handy when you verse the champion. The third one has ghost and poison types, so get a dark (for ghost) and ground (for poison), and these AGAIN will come in handy against the champ. Last of the four is some dragon dude who uses dragons. Get an ice-type for this, he'll be able to kill them all. And lastly when you verse your rival, use your electric or ice type on Pidgeot, get your dark one to kill Alakazam, use your water one on Rhydon because since he is a ground/rock type, water is SE against both therefore making the water types a monster against it, and the next part depends on who you chose as your starter:

If you chose Bulbasaur, then he has an Exeggutor which you can kill with your ice or dark type, a Gyarados you can use your electric against for same reasons as Rhydon, and a Charizard you can use your water against.

OR...

If you chose Charmander, then he has an Exeggutor which i've already written for, an Arcanine to go against your water, and a Blastoise to go against your electric.

OR...

If you chose Squirtle, then he has an Arcanine which i've already written about, a Gyarados which i've already written about, and a Venusaur to go against with your ice or psychic.

Obviously I've written too many types to fit in one party, so you can just mix and match any of these to go together, like you can have your water and fighting one as poliwrath or something totally frandom like that.
