What would be a good tenor sax?

I'm looking to buy a tenor saxophone and would want to know what a good, but cheap, model or brand sax would be. (preferably under 2,000 if possible). Thanks in advanced.

You can't go wrong with a Yamaha.

Be aware that the Selmer USA horns (LaVIE, LaVoix) are NOT on the same level of craftsmanship as the Selmer Paris ones.

Also, Taiwanese saxophones have improved a LOT recently. Just don't go buy a cheap Chinese c**p through eBay.
