  1. take them on a "nature" walk (even if its just around the outside of the house) and have them find different objects like rocks, sticks, leaves, flowers etc.. then every day they can paint USING those objects they found. It's more fun then always using a paint brush and the pictures look cute.

Have the kids make their own play dough and add different smells to there own to make it one of a kind.

Buy a lot of Popsicle sticks and glue and for a few days they could make a bridge or a building but have them work together They get into it and take this very seriously. Great for teaching them about team work and working together.

Have the parents bring you a plain white t-shirt (that fits the children) and for a art project they could paint all over it.  If you take them anywhere that could be the "special" shirt they all wear.

Ask them what interests they have or what activities are fun and go from there.

Hope some of these help, if you need more ideas email me at AngelArt4sale@yahoo.com

  2. I'm not sure what you are asking.  A project that lasts 4 weeks or one that is displayed for that long.  :-)

We did a zoo mural this last week with the 4 and 5 year old in my care.  They've added to it a little every day and they are SO proud!  Bulletin Board paper, they rubbed green crayon over it and we taped it to the wall.  Then I provided zoo animals to color and cut out, scissors, crayons, and glue sticks.  They did awesome.  Not only did they glue the animals up but they added rocks, trees, grass, water and the five  year old is even "kid-writing" the names of the animals and made a zoo sign.  Consider a mural.  It can be of any theme really.

Collages make nice projects.  A black poster board and bright colored scrap paper to cut and glue up there.  You can make it theme related.

    Good luck!

  3. hmmm...

y wont you just let them make a play or a dance group that will present on their school??

  4. how about a flower or veggie garden?  then you can study the plants, propogation, etc.  if you don't have a garden space outside, you can do it inside in cups, bags, etc.  so much can be studied about a garden theme.

good luck and have fun with it.  include butterflies and insects that certain plants attract, how to plant, water, feed, sunlite vs. darkness, what is edible and what isn't.
