What would be a healthy option when eating out ?

Something nice - I really cant think of anyhing that is both nice AND healthy.

I'd normally get a burger king or something, but Im really trying to watch what I eat

  1. Washing your hands Before you eat  would be a healthy option; and if you often eat with others without doing this, this time it would be healthy AND nice!


  2. If by "eating out" you mean "fast-food" like a burger place, it's really very difficult to eat healthy. However since BK flame broils as opposed to frying, they're one-up on the rest. They also have great veggie burgers and o.k. salads. Subway is more health-food conscious and they have a menu that also provides you with nutritional information. If you really enjoy the burger joints but want to watch what you eat, then just limit yourself to a once a week treat.

  4. there are absolutely phantastic organic food restaurants. It depends where you live of course, the best I know are in Barcelona. Great atmosphere, good and healthy food and prices are ok. often health food stores have takeout with organic vegetables ingredients, just try it out, maybe you find something to replace burger king . .

  5. Baked potatos, salad or perhaps a nice wrap/fajita? Otherwise stick with what you know but exclude mayo, ketchup and any other dressings. Swtich to diet sodas and remember you're 5 portions of fruit and veg a day!
